How to play
All the players go to their starting positions, i.e. they stand by their chute with a metal ball in their hand.
At a pre-arranged signal, the fun begins and all the players simultaneously let a ball roll down their chute
onto the field of play.
The idea is that the balls should hit the disc and it is propelled by their impetus. The aim is for a player to
propel the disc from the centre of the field into his own target area, opposite his chute. The target areas
are marked off by the circular lines.
As soon as the first ball is in play, the remaining four can also be used. If a player has run out of metal
balls, he is allowed to retrieve some from the game board and bring them into play again.
It is an important rule that at any time each player is only allowed to have five metal balls in play. If
wished, these may all be rolled down the chute at the same time. The rule avoids the situation where one
player uses all the balls for himself. With the revolving chute, the player can take accurate aim. By trying it
out the children will soon notice how to give their metal ball the most impetus. They can
give it a little push to roll it down the chute.
As soon as one player has propelled the disc into his target area, the first round is ended and the player
receives one point. He is allowed to take a wooden peg from the wooden bar beside the game board, and
place it in one of the holes in the margin of the board next to his chute.
Then the pursuit begins again! Each player takes up his starting position and again receives five metal
balls. The first player to win five pegs has won the game.
