2 . Is the Input/Output cable properly plugged into the power input assembly (1ll1 to Jl)?
If
the
cable or connector appears
to
be
defective, return it to the facto� for repair.

3 . Are the fuses installed properly and not blown?
The PRIDE® Uni
ts
contain fuses on the power
and
p:>tential inputs.
These fuses are located on the
front edge of the printed circuit board at the top of the power input compartment (see Figure 7
and
Figure 16) .
To
check these fuses, remove the power from the unit by disconnecting connector
Jl.
Pull the fuses from their sockets and check their continuity with an ohmmeter.
If a fuse is
determined to
be
open-circuited, replace that fuse and recheck the operation of the unit.
Spare
__
fuses are taped to the inside of the bottom compartment of the PRIDE.

available from Beckwith Electric. Refer
to
Table 3 for ordering information.

If the POWER OK LED is lit, but the unit does not operate, assure that the M-0298 Memory Board i s
plugged i n completely. If the Field Adj ustment Uni t is being used, be sure that the M-0397 EE PROM
Board is plugged in properly.
OUTPUT RELAY
'!he
outp.1t relay is located at the bottom of the Power Input section. This is a commercially available
octal socket relay and can be removed from the PRIDE and checked for proper operation.
The relay
requires 12
V
dc across the coil to operate.
INTERNAL CABLES
Assure that
J3 and
J4 connector cables are plugged in completely.
