Sensor button
There are two sensor buttons each on the
left and right sides of the touchscreen.
Telephone sensor button
The telephone function is called up
using this sensor button. See “Calling
up telephone mode” on page 77.
Day/night sensor button
The display can be switched between
day and night mode using this sensor
button.
Home address sensor button
Route guidance to the home address
is started by pressing this sensor but-
ton, provided a home address has
been stored. See “The Home address
button” on page 62.
Map sensor button
Map display is called up using this
sensor button. See “Map display” on
page 68.
Button lock
The Traffic Assist can be protected from
inadvertent inputs via the sensor buttons
or the touchscreen via the button lock.
Activating the button lock

Press the sensor buttons simultaneously

the button lock is activated.
Now, if you press a button or the screen, a
message is displayed indicating that the
button lock is active.
Deactivating the button lock

Volume control
The volume can be adjusted both via the
integrated volume control on the Traffic
Assist and in the various applications.
The volume control
is located on the
right side of the unit Traffic Assist.
