Note: Both Files are loaded and viewed as one file by Nautica RADIUS
when Authenticating and Authorising access. Where distributed
RADIUS systems are used, the Shared File may be on a central
RADIUS system to provide for mobile users requiring occasional
access from remote parts of the network. Both files are regularly
polled for any changes, and in the event of a change being detected,
the new version of the file will be loaded. In a distributed system, this
polling takes place via attached Windows Network drives. Therefore
care must be taken to ensure that access to remotely sited RADIUS
systems is via a cost-effective connection system.
LOG ACCOUNTS Select this box to log accounts to your hard
disc drive.
ACCOUNTING FILE This details where Accounts are stored by
NAMES name of Account.
The default Accounting File Name string is shown below :-
ACCOUNT %-3.3s %s %s %d.CSV
The default string will produce a set of sequenced files starting from 1, similar
to the following :-
ACCOUNT Mon 0802 2359 1.CSV.
The file name is in the format [TEXT
