RIP O
PERATION
Select one of the options below:-
DISABLED
RIP is disabled.
SEND ONLY
The NAS (e.g. Marlin) broadcasts RIP tables,
but does not accept RIP broadcasts.
LISTEN ONLY
The NAS accepts RIP broadcasts but does no
transmit RIPs to the remote site.
SEND & LISTEN
The NAS both transmits and receives RIP
broadcasts.
Note: If RIP is disabled Static routes must be set up for each connection.

YPE
RIP 1
Sets RIP 1 as the standard routing information
update protocol.
RIP 1 COMPATIBLE
Sets routing for RIP1 compatibility on the
interface, with RIP 2 addressing on the
network. This allows non standard subnet
information to be passed onto those devices
that can process it.
RIP 2
Sets the standard routing as RIP 2, allowing
the increased security of specific subnet
transmission to remote sites.
