The Vibrate on Device Connected option is a checkbox. Uncheck the
box to stop the vibration from occurring. When vibration is off, you will
need to manually check Bluetooth channels to see if a pair device has
connected.
10.9.4 Braille Display Mode > Show Message if Device Connected.
When checked, VarioUltra will display a message if a device is
connected. The message appears for 5 seconds.
10.9.5 Braille Display Mode > Key Simulation Properties.

you can select different settings for braille and HID
key simulation and assign them each to a paired iOS or Android device.
The settings are used automatically when you switch to the assigned
Bluetooth channel of the connected device.
Instructions:
1. Open menu Settings > Braille Display Mode and move down to the
list “Paired devices”.
2. This horizontal list presents the names of the paired Bluetooth
devices. Behind the name, short information of the assigned
Bluetooth channel and Braille and HID key simulation settings are
shown.
3. Select the desired Bluetooth device with Navistick right / left.
4. Move down and confirm the button “Key Simulation Properties”.
5. A dialog opens. The first option presents the name of the chosen
Bluetooth device. With the help of several list you can adjust the
desired delay time for Braille key simulation and HID key
simulation and select the HID table for the HID key simulation
function.
6. Confirm OK to close the dialog and save the properties which are
now assigned to the Bluetooth device.
7. You are back in the first dialog. In the list “Paired Devices” you find
the assigned properties in short. (BTx, BRL xxms, HID xxms, HID
table table.U2H)
8. Close with OK.
You can assign the following properties:
1. Delay of braille simulation (in ms) 30 – 100 (Default: 50
milliseconds)
2. HID table (U2H table contains specific language and Apple or
Android keyboard layout information)
