Master Power Switch Power switch on the rear panel of an XHD-series
media server. The Master Power switch removes
power from the unit,
without performing a shutdown .
Power Switch Power switch on the front panel of an XHD-series
media server. The Power switch performs a shut-
down, then removes power from the unit.
SD-SDI Standard-definition Serial Digital Interface; an SD-
SDI signal (SMPTE 292M). Format examples include
480i and 525i.
System Restore A process that can restore the applications and set-
tings on the C: drive to their original condition.
System Restore also restores the needed software li-
censes. A Full Restore can erase the data on the D:
drive.
