Remedy Possible cause Problem
Make sure that the Master Power
switch on the rear panel is ON. The Master Power switch is not
ON.
Media server
does not start
Make sure power supply is connec-
ted to a valid power source. The power supply is not connec-
ted to a valid power source.
Check motherboard for any power
indication or errors.
Make sure that the EATX12V con-
nector is firmly seated. EATX12V connector is loose or
disconnected from the mother-
board.
When handling power connec-
tions, remember to always follow
safety procedures. See
Caution .
If EATX12V is not connected, the
system may repeatedly start and
stop, start and stop.
Be sure to use supplied active and
passive adapters in proper order. The DisplayPort-to-DVI adapter
may be incorrect.
No video output
See the notes to Table 2.1 in the
Box content (p.26) section of this
user guide.
Make sure cable is seated cor-
rectly, and the thumbscrews are
tight. The video cable may not be prop-
erly connected.
Enable the display in the Windows
screen setting. The display has not been enabled
by Windows.
Remove the previously used EDID
and verify that you can see the The EDID does not match the at-
tached display.

Operating ambient temperature
must be higher than 0°C (32°F) The operating temperature is too
high.
Images unstable
or showing bad
performance
and lower than 40°C (104°F).
Leave sufficient front and rear
clearance to ensure that airflow
through the chassis is not restric-
ted.
Be sure to encode content with X-
Agora Media Encoder. The content is not properly en-
coded or has too many layers.
Content is not properly encoded,
or it has toomany layers.
