6. Installation Guidelines
It is recommended that you use the optional BARCO ceiling-mount bracket to mount the projector to the ceil-
ing.
6.1.2.3 Projector distance adjustment
Cine VERSUM 80: Calculation of the projector distance PD
Place the projector at the required distance from the screen according to the desired screen size. The required distance can be
calculated with the formula added to the drawing below.
The formula is based upon projecting an 16:9 image so that it occupies the entire 16:9 screen.
The projector distance PD is measured from lens support (indicated with fingertip in drawing) to screen face.

Calculation of the projector distance (PD)
The maximum and minimum screen width in both Zoom Ranges are:
• Zoom Range WIDE: from 0.8 to 6.0 m
• Zoom Range TELE: from 0.6 to 4.5 m
Cine VERSUM 120: Calculation of the projector distance PD
Place the projector at the required distance from the screen according to the desired screen size. The required distance can be
calculated with the formula added to the drawing below.

The projector distance PD is measured from front bottom projector housing (indicated with arrow in drawing)
to screen face.
