AGC on Video (only for video signals)
What can be done ?
The AGC (Automtic Gain Control) allows an automtic gain control of the incoming video signal.
The AGC can be disturbing in case of Macrovision encoded signals, therefore the AGC can be disabled (OFF) at any time.
The default state is OFF.
Enabling/disabling the AGC
Proceed as follow :

Manual Gain Control (only for Video signals)
What can be done ?
Beside the AGC there is the possibility to manualy set the gain of the incoming video signal.
When the AGC is enabled (ON), the Manual setting does not affect the gain, AGC must therefore be disabled.
The manual gain control must be done on an external pattern with white areas (grey scale signal, see image 5 on previous page)
