Desktop error strings ( if present)
The operating system (Windows
TM
) uses a yellow notification area to display errors and messages. These messages appear in the
lower right corner of the desktop.
The acknowledge bytes (c data bytes ,...) are followed by a character string representing the actual message or error
displayed.
An example is the error
“No image file found”
that can be generated when selecting a inactive (not present) source.
The character string sent is the following :
\x2b\x00\xff\xff\xff\xf1\x00\x4e\x00\x6f\x00\x20\x00\x49\x00\x6d\x00\x61\x00\x67\x00\x65\x00\x66\x00\x69\x00
Note that each character is followed by the \x00, the string being also ended with \x00.
