RESET CI+ AUTHENTICATIONS
- RESET CI+ AUTHENTICATION: If experiencing problems with the CI+ Authentication, the customer can be advised to reset CI+ data. When activating
this menu line you see: RESET ALL CI+ AUTHENTICATIONS YES/NO.
PICTURE ADJUSTMENTS
AFTER IMAGE ERASER
Activates a black screen, where a white horizontal bar scrolls over the screen. This will help remove burned in images on plasma panels. This
function only works with plasma panel products. (Only shown on BeoSystem 4 with a RS232 controllable Plasma screen)
AUTO COLOUR MANAGEMENT
Can be used to enable or disable - ON/OFF - the ACM (the calibration arm). If no ACM module if found in the plasma panel, this menu item will
not be shown.
WSS STATUS
WSS STATUS can be changed. WSS (Wide Screen Signalling) is used to describe qualities of the signal content, and in particular to determine the
aspect ratio of the image. It can be DETECT ON, DETECT OFF or BROADCAST ONLY. When it is DETECT OFF, WSS detection is never used, and
when it is set to broadcast only, it is only used for the internal TV tuner, and not for external sources.
FRAME SYNC
Is per default set to ON. When connected to a SIM2 Crystal Cube projector, FRAME SYNC must be set to OFF to avoid image flickering.
HIDE NANO DRIFT BORDER
The Nano Drift function in the plasma monitors is shifting the image a few pixels up/down and left/right in a rotating pattern to blur edges from
burn-in effect e.g. from channel logos. A side effect to this behaviour is that black areas are visible on two out of 4 sides. Changing this setting
from the default value OFF to ON, will make sure the entire screen area is used while cropping a bit of. Changing this setting to ON will break 1:1
pixel mapping. (Only shown on BeoSystem 4 and only if supported screen uses Nano Drift which is all plasma monitors supporting 3D).
SCREEN MEASUREMENT
This menu is used when BeoSystem 4 is connected to a new screen or when PCB01, Video Engine has been replaced with a pre-programmed
PCB01, Video Engine. Refer to Installation guide for BeoSystem 4 on BeoWise.
