Bracket height
The length of D, depends on how far the black drop is
on the screen. The illustration below tells you how to
find the correct height.
Note:
The vertical centre line of the lens is D + Vertical
Lens Offset.
Depending on the projector type and the lens shift ability
to offset the picture, it might be advantageous to have
the centre line of the lens placed 10% of the Vertical
Lens Shift above the top line of the screen if supported
by the projector. Else the centre line of the lens must be
aligned with the centre of the screen or alternatively in
the top or bottom of the screen field. Some projectors
provide lens shift up/down a certain percentage; others
provides lens shift up only (e.g. SIM2 Lumis, Nero). In
such case a projector placed in a ceiling lift shall be
placed upside down.
