Note: Do not disconnect the measurement device until step 4 has been completed as well.
The following instructions are shown - follow these (see the illustration):
STEP 4 OF 4:
COVER THE TV’S LIGHT SENSOR ON
THE UPPER RIGHT HAND CORNER OF
THE SCREEN (OR THE EXTERNAL
LIGHT SENSOR IF CONNECTED)
COMPLETELY WITH A THICK BLACK
CLOTH
START MEASUREMENT NO. 4
- Press the
Centre
button to start the measurement.
During the measurement the text
MEASURING
is shown.
When measurement is finished, the following text is shown in the lower right
corner of the display:
LIGHT SENSOR MEASUREMENT COMPLETE
- Press and hold
BACK
to exit menus.
In case the measurement fails an error message will be shown
The problem could be, that there has been too much or too little light in the room during the measurement steps 1 to 3 or that or the light sensor
of the TV has not been covered sufficiently during measurement step 4; see
page 24
.
In that case readjust the lighting conditions in the room - see - and/or use a thicker black cloth for covering the light sensor.
After this the above measurement must be made again, see
page 24
