 Disassembly and disposal

19  Disassembly and disposal

19 1  Decommissioning

At the end of the device's service life you must disassemble

the device and dispose of it in an environmentally acceptable

manner.

You must put the device out of operation before you disas-

semble it.

Switch off receiver and unplug from the winch/vehicle

socket

Switch off transmitter and remove batteries

19 2  F10 E receiver disassembly

If available: Disassemble the remote antenna.

Remove the 3 fixing screws of the receiver housing.

Pull the connection cable(s) from the winch/vehicle socket.

Localize the source of the fault and eliminate it; e.g. short

circuit in the cabling.
Remove the 4 housing screws and open the housing lid.
Replace defective fuses only with fuses of the same type

(same value!).
Put on the housing cover and screw the 4 housing bolts on

tightly.

In general, do not interfere with the device any further,

as this will invalidate the warranty.
