6.6 LED Meaning and Configuration
6.6.1 Description
Only the signal with the highest priority is displayed. The
signals are listed in descending priority.

LED 2 (Indication/Warning/Teach/Ping)

Ping Blue, flashing, 3 Hz The ping can be activated via a system command to find
the device again.
Short Circuit Pin 2 / Pin 4 Red, flashing, 3 Hz Short circuit at pin 2 or pin 4
Teach In No Object Red, flashing, 1 Hz The sensor is in Teach-In mode and no object is visible.
Teaching is not possible.
Teach In Red, static The sensor is currently in Teach-In mode
Maintenance Required Blue, static Maintenance must be performed.
Overload Orange, flashing, 3 Hz Overload on pin 2 / pin 4 has been detected.
Bad Signal Quality Orange, flashing, 1 Hz The signal quality of the measurement signal is below the
warning threshold. A reliable signal can no longer be
ensured.
Out of Specification Yellow, 3 Hz The device is operated outside of specifications. A
reliable measurement signal can no longer be ensured.
Function Display Yellow, static The object was detected / switching point is active
