IIOIC12 FUNCTIONAL OPERATION

 shows a block diagram of the IIOIC12. This block

diagram shows the signal flow for the IIOIC12. Refer to this fig-
ure when reading the description.

The IIOIC12 controls and monitors a process through the
IIOIS12 station. The IIOIC12 is an operator station controlled
by an Intel 66-MHz, 486DX (minimum) computer that con-
tains 16 megabytes of dynamic RAM memory. Communica-
tions between the master OIS12 and slave OIC12 units are
accomplished via the Ethernet network connections. Up to
three OIC12 units may be daisy-chained via coaxial cable to
the OIS12.
