Keep rafters firmly against
PVA
at both ends when securing gusset.
Remove
TEMPORARY OSB PANEL
from truss and
PVA
's from floor.
Handle TEMPORARY OSB PANEL carefully as it will
be used later as a roof panel.
Flip rafters over and attach the gusset using glue
(Fig. B)
and (12) 2" nails to finish securing the gusset to
the rafters with pattern shown
(Fig. C)
. No need to use jig for this gusset.

TEMPORARY OSB PANEL
using two 1-5/8" screws into each rafter.
HINT:
the
TEMPORARY OSB
PANEL
will hold the measurements when you flip over the rafters to install the gusset
(Fig B)
. Do not glue.
