3.3 Connecting the Probe hose and
Thermocouple
The analyzer’s model number determnes whch hose and thermocouple
connectons are made at the bottom of the unt. Perform the followng steps
as requred by your partcular analyzer model (see Fgures 3-2A thru D):
1. Push the probe’s sample-gas hose onto the GAS nlet fttng.
2. Push the probe’s draft hose onto the “+” pressure fttng.
3. Push the probe’s thermocouple nto the T-STACK jack
Important:
DO NOT force the thermocouple connector into
its jack. The connection tabs are different sizes, allowing the
connector to fit in only one way.
4. Push the optonal room-ar/prmary-ar thermocouple nto the
T-AIR jack.
Inspect the flue-gas hose for cracks. If a hose s defectve, replace the entre
probe assembly.
Before usng the analyzer, check that the Water Trap / Flter s dry and
not drty. If necessary, dry out the trap and replace the flter element per
Secton 5.8.
