The gripper on the tool change spindle did not close within the maximum
expected time lapse.

POSSIBLE CAUSE

There are various possible causes:

  Defective solenoid valve
  Pneumatic problem – crushed pipe
  Defective sensor
  Defective electrical connection between the solenoid valve and the CN

I/O cards

Movement obstacle

SOLUTION

Only for qualified technicians:

  Check the solenoid valve and the electrical wiring
  Check the pneumatic system
  Check sensors and connections
  Clean the tool change
