9. TROUBLESHOOTING
9.1. KNOWN ISSUES
Hardware
•
Web camera connected to the PC via USB 2.0 or USB 3.2 port could malfunction the sys-
tem.
•
Do not use USB 2.0 or USB 3.2 portable dongles for mobile Internet.
9.2. ERRORS AND CAUSES
Error description Possible causes Remedy

The scanner doesn't turn
on by using the front
On\Off switch

Main connecting cable discon-
nected

Connect the main cable

Rear AC On\Off switch off

Turn On the rear AC switch

Fuses blow
•
Replace the fuses
•
If none of the above solves the
problem, contact E.G.S. srl cus-
tomer service
2 The scanner is On but
nothing is visible on the
monitor

DVI-I cable non properly con-
nected to the DVI-I port in the
scanner
•
Use the right DVI-I port in the
scanner
•
DVI-I cable not working
•
Change the cable or use the
ones provided in accessory box
•
A DVI-I to VGA adapter is present
in the DVI-I port
•
Remove the adapter and use
the cable provided in accessory
box
•
If none of the above solves the
problem, unplug the scanner
and contact the E.G.S. srl cus-
tomer service
3 The scanner is On but
warm up sequence gets
stucks
