6.
TRANSPORT AND PACKAGING
6.1.
TRANSPORT
The scanner must be moved using the original packaging. The external cardboard is market
with the below label:
Therefore
•
Carefully transport the unit horizontally to prevent damage.
•
Protect from rain and humidity.
•
Fragile! Shocks must be avoided!
NOTE
•
Transport temperature should not be less than -10 °C or more than 70 °C.
•
Storage temperature should not be less than 0 °C or more than 50 °C.
•
Packings and units must not be stacked.
•
For dimensions and weight refer to paragraph "Technical data".
6.2.
UNPACKING
The
B9 Scan 500
device is shipped inside a cardboard box.
1.
Open the upper side of the cardboard box at the position where the clamps are present.
2.
Open the protective bag.
3.
Remove the white cardboard box containing the accessories kit.
4.
Remove the central foam protection.
5.
Remove the additional accessories boxes if presents. Their quantities depend on order
done.
6.
Remove the left and right foam protections.
7.
Remove the scanner from the cardboard and put it on a table.
CAUTION
•
Refer to paragraph "Hardware setup" to properly position the scanner on the table.
•
The scanner may be too heavy to be lifted by a single person. Grasp firmly on the base
before lifting it, do not lift it using the top cover
