Steps D1-D7 describe the normal disconnection procedure.

Press emergency off

Stop test according to
see 5.4 Interrupting a Test on page 73
and press emergency off button
to lock against re-energise.

Verify HV status. Wait until red LED

light deactivates.
(Red light indicates residual voltage > 100V)

Discharge and earth the DUT complying with local safety regulations .

Lock HVA in disabled state to prevent unauthorized use:
• Turn key switch

to the OFF position.

Disconnect the Test Lead
• Disconnect test lead from DUT

earth cable from the HV cable shield

• Unscrew HV test lead from HVA HV output connector

• Disconnect power supply cable from power supply plug

Disconnect all earthing cables
• Disconnect earthing cable from DUT earth
