Pneumatic Connection
NOTE ON EXPLOSION PROTECTION
Restriction on the travel speed of the pneumatic cylinder!
The speed for extending and retracting the pneumatic cylinder may not exceed 0.1 m/s.
The throttle check valves whose position determines the speed are preset and sealed by
the manufacturer of the retractor system.
If this is not observed, the explosion protection could be disabled.
 Preconfigured throttle check valves must NOT be changed.
 The throttle check valves are adjusted as follows ( Figure
3.1-1
: General Construction ):

Position E: 4.0 turns from “closed” towards “open”
–
Position D: 4.0 turns from “closed” towards “open”
