Appendix E  USB Recovery DVR Firmware 

To update or recovery firmware of DVR server. Please contact your local dear to get firmware of DVR server. 

Please refer the steps below to update or recovery the DVR

’s firmware. 

1.  Please shutdown the DVR server first. 

2.  Plug the USB that contains firmware into the DVR server. 

3.  Restart DVR server. After restart DVR server, please wait for a while for DVR server to prepare for 

recovering procedure. 

4.  And then, a System Recovery Procedure dialog will show up on screen. Click 

OK

 to start recovery 

procedure. To cancel the recovery procedure, click 

No

. 

 

5.  The recovery progress bar will display on screen. 

 

6.  When the recovery procedure is completed, click 

Reboot

 and remove the USB from DVR server. 

i

 

Without remove the USB, the firmware recovery procedure will re-do again.
