Deskphone models relevant to this guide
The Avaya 9600 Series IP Deskphone family currently includes the following 15 telephone
models. This guide describes only four models: 9608, 9611G, 9621G, and 9641G. For

The deskphones have an Ethernet switch with which the telephone and a PC can share the
same LAN connection, if appropriate. Thus, these models do not work with the 30A switched
hub interface. The 9611G, 9621G, and 9641G models have a gigabit Ethernet (GigE) interface,
which speeds data transmission. The 9641 also has an integrated Bluetooth
