Use this procedure to save a call log entry to a file on your PC.
Procedure
1. Select the call log entry you want to save.
2. Select
File
>
Save As
.
The
Save As
window appears.
3. Select the location where you want to save the call log entry. (For example, you can save the
file on your desktop.)
4. Enter a file name and choose a file type.
5. Click
Save
.
Managing your contacts
Your Microsoft Outlook contacts help you manage, track, and access information about your key
contacts. The Avaya Aura
®
AS 5300 Office Client integrates with the Microsoft Outlook contact
details window. It adds the following data fields and functions to the Microsoft Outlook contact
details window:
•
SIP Address
field in the
Phone numbers
section
•
This contact is a friend
check box
•
Trusted User
check box
•
Group with
box where the Friend can be placed into a group (the default is
No Group
)
•
Groups
button for managing groups
•
Presence
: If the contact has a valid SIP address and is marked as a Friend, the Presence
status of the contact appears in the
Contact Details
window.
•
Picture
: If the contact has a valid SIP address, the picture of the contact stored on the
provisioning server is downloaded and displayed in the
Contact Details
window.
•
Call, IM, and Sharing
buttons for making calls, sending instant messages and starting sharing
conversations with the contact.
Your Microsoft Outlook contacts synchronize automatically with your personal address book. The
personal address book is stored on your network server and can be viewed using any PC, another
SIP Client, or the Personal Agent. Not all of your Microsoft Outlook contacts synchronize with your
personal address book. The synchronization process follows a predefined set of rules, including:
• SIP addresses are used to match new contacts from both the Microsoft Outlook contacts and
the personal address book. When you add a contact in Microsoft Outlook that has a valid SIP
address, the contact is added to your Personal address book if it does not already exist. When
you add a new contact in your personal address book it is added to your Microsoft Outlook
contacts.
