Other Avaya IP Telephony servers
Issue 3.4.1 June 2005
73
The IBM blade server offers a 50% improvement in server density over the S8500 server. This
platform is appropriate for hosting IP Telephony deployments for many small- to mid-sized
enterprises. Hot-pluggable components with redundant power supplies, fans, and Gigabit
Ethernet cards increase the platform’s serviceability. In addition, a NEBS-compliant version is
available upon request.
