Connecting bus cables
1. Connect bus cables (refer to figures 13 and 14).
2. If the actuator is the final device in the bus segment:

Connect termination resistor for channel 1 through linking the terminals
31 – 33 and 32 – 34 (standard).
Ò
For component redundancy: Connect termination resistor for channel 2
through linking the terminals 35 – 37 and 36 – 38.
3. Connect screen largely to the cable glands.
Information
Metallic EMC cable glands have to be used to provide reliable and proper
bus cable shielding.
