2. Maintenance
2.1 Daily Maintenance
Implement startup and shutdown sequence according to required procedure every day;
Record operating parameters of unit according to certain timer interval;
Clean filter of refrigeration water and cooling water one time after unit operates for 24
hours.
Check pressure of evaporator and condenser of unit according to indication on pressure
gauge on control cabinet. Check difference between evaporation temperature and outlet
temperature of refrigeration water, difference between condensation temperature and
outlet temperature of cooling water, according to comparison table of pressure and
temperature. Pay attention to trend of change. Usually, reading of evaporation should be
0.4~0.6MPa and condensation pressure should be 1.0~1.8MPa.
Check filter dryer of refrigerant. Frosting at outlet of filter dryer indicates blockage, which is
usually followed with ultralow evaporation pressure and increased difference between
evaporation temperature and outlet temperature of refrigeration water. It’s necessary to
pay attention to timely replace filter dryer of refrigerant;
Check oil level in oil tank. Oil level is usually set at middle position of sight glass. It’s
