Discharge valve is installed on cylinder of evaporator.

Vertical change should be prevented for water pipe where possible. Manual or automatic
discharge valve should be installed between high part of pipeline and expansion water tank.

Thermometer and pressure gauge should be installed at straight pipe section of inlet and
outlet water pipeline, which shouldn’t be installed at the location near elbow pipe where
possible. Bypass pipeline should be installed between inlet and outlet water pipes of
evaporator to facilitate cleaning and overhauling pipeline.

Drain valve (wash-out valve) should be installed at the lowest part of inlet and outlet water
pipeline of unit. Drainage pipe should be connected to the lowest side of system to discharge
refrigeration water of unit from two outlets, prevent refrigeration water freezing in heat
exchanger and water pump in winter, and prevent damaging unit when it is not used in winter.

Separate support should be installed for pipeline of water system and external force
shouldn’t be applied on main unit. Usually, spacing of support is determined by material
performance and pipe diameter.

Pipeline of refrigeration water and expansion water tank should be insulated. Maintenance
space should be reserved at joint of valves.

Pipeline should be wrapped with insulation layer after airtight test to prevent heat transfer
and sweating. Insulation layer should be covered with damp-proof sealing device.
