3 Connection of Water Pipeline
After installing unit into proper position, conduct installation of water system pipeline or connect the
arranged water system pipeline with water pipe of evaporator and condenser.
3.1 Basic Requirements of Pipeline Connection

Installation and insulation of water pipeline of A/C system should be designed and instructed
by professional designers, and should follow relevant requirements of heating A/C system
installation specification.

Inlet & outlet water pipeline should be connected according to requirements indicated on unit.

Water system must be equipped with water pump of suitable flow and lift to ensure unit can
set water supply. Water pump should be connected to unit and water system pipeline with anti-
vibration flexible joint, and should also be self-supported to prevent applying force on unit. During
installation, welding should prevent damaging unit. (Add requirements for flange connection)

Install flow switch (to be supplied by AUKS, excluding joint) on outlet water pipe of evaporator
and condenser. Interlock input contact in flow switch and control cabinet. The installation
requirements are as follows:
Flow switch is single-pole double-throw (SPDT) flow switch used to induct flow change
of liquid such as water, glycol or other non-hazardous fluids flowing across pipeline. It is
typically used at places requiring linkage function or “discontinuous flow” protection.
When installing flow switch, its wiring terminal should be installed at the position that is
easy for wiring.
Tightly screw slow switch to keep liquid flow at a correct angle, arrow on enclosure must
be in the same direction as that of liquid flow.
