Chapter II Installation and Commissioning
1 Preparation and Tools before Installation
1.1 Preparation before Installation

Dedicated machine room should be available for unit. Measures should be taken to exhaust
heat generated by unit during operation and ventilation volume should be able to keep
maintain room temperature no more than 40 .

Unit should be installed on non-deformable rigid pedestal or concrete foundation that should
be flat and stand weight of unit during operation.

Sufficient drainage measures such as draining channel should be available for around the
foundation of unit to discharge water from system in case of seasonal shutdown or
maintenance.

Machine room should be spacious enough to install and maintain unit, and pull pipe;
meanwhile, pipeline and line pipe shouldn’t be laid above compressor; the distance from the
highest point of unit to the top of machine room shouldn’t be less than 500mm. See the
following diagram for space requirement.
