Configuring Windows XP PCs
These instructions assume you are running
Windows XP style menu
as the default interface. If
you are using the
Classic Star menu
Interface, please follow the instructions for Windows
2000.
1. Find the Local Area Connection Status screen by clicking the Start button and then click on
Control Panel. From there, click the Network Connection Icon, and finally the Local Area
Connection item in the window that opens to see the window below:
2. Click the properties icon to see the window below and then select the item Internet Protocol
(TCP/IP) from the list.
