HANDPAY (continued)
Jackpot Handpay during Free Games
If the highest progressive jackpot level was hit dur-
ing a free game session, the machine will lock up and
displays a jackpot message on-screen:
<amount> JACKPOT WILL BE PAID AFTER THE FREE GAMES
and
PLEASE CALL ATTENDANT - YOU HAVE WON <amount>
At the same time a handpay message of the progres-
sive jackpot amount is send to the accounting system.
However, no handpay must be carried out at this
time! The on-screen message instructs the attend-
ant to pay the player
after
all remaining free game
spins are played. The remaining free game spins are
played after the jackpot message has been reset by
turning the jackpot key.
When all free game spins are played, the game will
lock up again showing a handpay screen and following
message
CALL ATTENDANT FOR HANDPAY <amount>
At the same time a second handpay message (level
00) of the additional wins achieved during the free
game session is send to the accounting system. The
handpay message needs to be reset with the jackpot
key and the
total win amount
that is displayed in
the lower game screen has to be paid via handpay.
Note
: Depending on the casinos handpay handling
rules, a pay out of the totalized win amount in one
piece may require a manual override of the two (par-
tial) handpay messages at the accounting system.
To prevent an attendant from paying a jackpot twice,
carefully check the on-screen messages whether
you have a real handpay situation or an indication
of a handpay to come up soon.
