Trace
cpt
Trace debugging messages. These
messages may occur rapidly and are
meant for tracing program operation.
The default console priority can be set in the Application Settings. Changing the console priority in the
Application Settings will change the default console priority that the Scout MkII sets upon boot.
Note:
The recommended settings during typical operations are Quiet and Normal.
Note:
CPD and CPT settings are intended for debugging system issues only.

Console Commands
In addition to the console priority commands there are several more useful commands that are listed
below.

Set Default Settings
default
Sets the factory application default
settings. These settings will be saved in
non-volatile memory. Reboot the Scout
MkII for the settings to take effect. Can
be used to fix configuration issues.
Network Information
netinfo
Prints out the network configuration
information to the console.
System Reset
reset
Performs a soft reset of the Scout MkII
system. Shuts down all functions first.
Immediate System Reset
resetnow
Performs an immediate soft reset of the
Scout MkII system.
System Shutdown
shutdown
Performs a system shutdown. The
system will halt and will not reboot
until the power is cycled.
System Sleep
sleep
Puts the system to sleep. The wake up
trigger is defined in the Application
Settings. See the Sleep Power
Management section for more
information.
System Status
status
Prints out the system application
settings and sonar status to the
console.
System Information
sysinfo
Prints out the system factory settings
information to the console.
If the command is parsed successfully the command will be executed and the console will reply with OK. If
the command fails or is not recognized then the console will reply with "??".

NMEA Data Input
The Sea Scan® ARC Scout MkII system has been programmed to accept a variety of industry standard NMEA
0183 V1.5 data strings as well as custom user defined strings to allow for additional data not provided in the
