6. Navigate to the Application Settings page by selecting the link on the main page. Under the Scout MKII
Mode Setting, verify that the MKII Unit is configured as a Single Frequency.
Note: Changing the application settings requires the settings to be saved and resetting the Scout MkII unit
for the changes to take affect.
The Scout MkII now is ready to go. Use the Sonar Control web page to control the Sonar. See section 5 for
more information on the Web Interface.
CAUTION: Do not connect the MkII Interconnect Cable to any unit until confirming that one
device is configured as a Dual Frequency Master and the second device is configured as a Dual
Frequency Slave. Damage to the device interface may occur if they are not properly configured.

Quick Start (Dual Frequency Configuration)
Note:
If the units are ordered in a dual frequency configuration, they will be configured in the factory and
labeled as Dual Frequency Master or Dual Frequency Slave to make the setup and configuration easier on
the end user.

This section serves as a how-to for getting your Scout MkII setup and running quickly. Follow the procedure
below:
Dual Frequency Master Configuration
1. Before connecting the input power supplies to the Scout MkII, make sure that the input power supplies
are operating properly and within the specified operating parameters for MkII.
