Cleaning Fan and Replacing Dust Filter 

Dusty cooling fans, the intake fan on the back and the exhaust fan at the bottom, may cause malfunction of 
the instrument. Clean the fans regularly and replace the filter as necessary. 
 
(1)

 

Intake cooling fan (back) 

is located on the backside of the 
instrument. 
Remove the cover with a [type of driver 
need to be identified] screw driver. 
Clean the filter under warm soapy water 
or replace with a new filter. 
Place the cover back on and secure. 
 
 
 
(2)

 

  Exhaust cooling fan (bottom) 

Never remove the cover. Put the nozzle of 
a vacuum cleaner against it to clean the 
dust out. 
 
 
 
 
 

Filter replacement alert 

After a period of usage, the instrument will automatically alert the user to replace the dust filter. Follow the 
below procedure after cleaning/replacing the dust filter.

Touch the dust filter 

indication to open the system 
information screen.

Touch "CLEAR" to reset the 

usage time tracker.
