Using the Utility for Troubleshooting
The laserBIRD Utility provides a fast and easy way to evaluate how each individual detector in your
Sensor is performing throughout the operating region.
For example, if you were experiencing interruptions (static or noisy data) during your tracking
application, you could run the utility and determine which of the detectors were returning invalid
data. Invalid data is most often caused by an occluded detector or a saturated detector. The utility
refers to the three detectors as Sensor 1, Sensor 2, and Sensor 3.
NOTE:
The Scanner must receive valid data from
all 3
detectors to
process and compute a data record (position and orientation).
