4.4 Wrong Supply Impact

It is important to use the provisions of external analog power source when attempting to
use any of the eight analog voltage ranges that include either or both +10.0 V and -10.0 V
outputs. By specification, the supply voltage must be a minimum of ±12.5 V, with ±15 V
recommended; especially for heavy loads (see paragraph 4.3 and 4.4). When this rule is
violated, the results are undetermined.

Table 4-2 presents some data that is typical of the problem that may result. If you are not
getting smooth changes in output for even code changes, this could be the reason.
