Overview of the V2M-Juno r2 motherboard configuration system
The V2M-Juno r2 motherboard provides hardware infrastructure to enable board configuration during
powerup or reset. The MCC, in association with the configuration microSD card, configures the
V2M-Juno r2 motherboard during powerup or reset.
When the configuration process starts after application of power, or pressing the
ON/OFF/Soft Reset
button, the configuration process completes without further intervention from the user.
The MCC controls the transitions of the V2M-Juno r2 motherboard between the operating states in
response to pressing the reset buttons or powerdown requests from the operating system.
The following figure shows the V2M-Juno r2 motherboard configuration system.
Operating-state
Run ROM or flash image.
MCC reads V2M-Juno r2 configuration files from microSD card
MCC enables VAON, VIO, VSYS, Cortex-A53, Cortex-A72, and Mali-T624 GPU.
MCC enables

MCC reads the daughterboard configuration files and starts configuration of the daughterboard.
MCC releases the SCC reset

* Access the microSD card through the configuration USB port.
