Emergency Procedures
3.1 General Information
This section provides checklists and other procedures
for coping with emergencies that may occur.
Emergencies caused by airplane malfunction are rare
if proper preflight inspections and maintenance are
practiced. Enroute weather emergencies may be
minimized by careful flight planning and good
judgment when unexpected weather is encountered.
However, should an emergency arise, the guidelines
in this section should be considered and applied as
necessary to correct the problem.
In any emergency situation, the most important initial
actions are:

First - Maintain aircraft control

Then - Analyze the situation and take appropriate
action

Land as soon as practicable.
In other words: Do not forget to FLY THE AIRCRAFT.
