8.0 OPERATING WEXUS - NEXUS MODELS ONLY

8.1 Overview

- Wexus scales are designed to connect to Nexus via Bluetooth. The scales are engineered to connect and
communicate directly to each group.

- Individual group heads on Nexus are coded to only receive information from the corresponding coded
scale. Scale 1 will only communicate with group 1, Scale 2 will only communicate with group 2 and Scale
3 will only communicate with group 3 (on 3 Group models).

- Wexus is designed to provide real time weighing information. Weight will be displayed on Wexus scales.
Time will be displayed on Nexus display screen and Wexus scales.

8.2 Modes

Wexus operates in two modes:

Brew Mode: Weight is programmed inside Nexus to automatically stop at desired set point. Scale will
be tared once group button is pushed and timer will start.

Target Set Mode: Weight is programmed inside Nexus to automatically stop at desired set point.
Scale is manually tared, then group button is pushed and timer will start.
