2. Hardware Installation
This section describes how to install the ARC-4038 compact tower
12Gb/s SAS JBOD enclosure with host computer and disks.
2.1 Before You First Installing
Thanks for purchasing the ARC-4038 as your compact tower JBOD
data storage enclosure. The following manual gives simple step-by-
step instructions for installing and configuring the ARC-4038 JBOD
enclosure.
Unpack
Unpack and install the hardware in a static-free environment. The
ARC-4038 JBOD enclosure is packed inside an anti-static bag be

the contents listed below are missing or damaged, please contact
your dealer or distributor immediately.

• 1 x RJ11 to RS-232 DB9 cable
