7.7.2 Checklist for malfunctions
Most faults can be rectified with the help of the following checklist.

Are the power data, current and voltage limits adhered to? 3.3.1, 3.3.2, 3.3.3, 3.9, 3.10,

Are the power connections correctly established: Are [DC+/-],
[/-], and, if necessary, [BR+/-] reversed?
Is the polarity of the power connections correct?
For example, is [DC+] connected to [DC+]?

Check the EMC cable glands:
Are the EMC cable glands installed correctly? 6.3.4, 6.3.5, 6.3.8, 6.3.9
Are the mating connectors of the logical connections tight?
Are the crimp contacts and mating connectors installed
correctly? 6.3.8, 6.3.9

Check the cable lugs of the power connections:
Are the cable lugs installed correctly?
Are the bolts tightened with the correct torque and secured with
a pair of Nord-Lock wedge lock washers? 6.3.4, 6.3.8, 6.3.9
Is the cable shield of [ST1] correctly grounded? 6.3.5, 6.3.8, 6.3.9

Are the versions of VE, the parameter set, VEConfig, and the
