LIFT CONTROL (OPTIONAL)
In case electrical head plate lifting is applied, the lift
control section contains a key switch for operation and
two LED indicators (operation is enabled, lift motor is
active).
A = LED indicators
B = Key switch
Note:
The actuator (lift drive) may be electric or
electric/hydraulic!
CAUTION:
The head plate lifting device is a machine with potential
hazard (moving parts); it therefore comes with suppliers
declaration of conformity of type IIb regarding the European
Community legislation on machinery! The lifting device must
not be put into service (operation) until the complete system
has been declared to be conform machinery directive
89/392/EEG and 91/368/EEG.
Note:
In case head plate lifting is applied at a Pilot System with an ADI 1060 Bio Controller, during
sterilization and cultivation operation of the lifting device is disabled!
During normal operation of the bioreactor system, the key
must be removed from the lift control section (lifting device
can not be operated) and be kept in a secure place!
The lift must only be operated by authorised personnel!
After inserting the key in the switch, the lifting device can be operated by turning the key switch
(counter-)clockwise: clockwise = up, counter-clockwise = down.
CAUTION:
Before lifting the head plate, make sure that the pressure
inside the reactor is equal to environmental pressure and all
head plate bolts are released/removed.
Before lowering the head plate, make sure that no unsafe
situation will arise.
