Minimum Ventilation: How it Works
When the room temperature is below the set point, the fans can operate according to a minimum ventila-
tion speed and cycle. Running the fans even though ventilation is not required for reducing room tempera-
ture is useful to reduce humidity level and supply oxygen to the room. It also prevents the fans from
freezing in winter.
The fan speed and on time can be automatically adjusted over time by using a minimum ventilation curve.
The minimum ventilation curve must be turned off to adjust the minimum ventilation settings.
Setting the Minimum Ventilation Fan Speed
Before You Begin
The minimum ventilation curve must be disabled to adjust the minimum ventilation fan speed.
1. Using the menu select arrow keys, navigate to Minimum Ventilation / Curve→Variable 1 or Varia-
ble 2→Speed Curve .
The minimum speed of variable output 1 for minimum ventilation and the start of stage 1 is
displayed.
2. With the minimum speed of output 1 flashing on the display, press on the Edit key.
3. Use the arrow keys to adjust the minimum speed to the desired value.
4. Press on the Edit key to validate.
Minimum Ventilation Curve: How it Works
A curve is composed of 10 points. Each point specifies a day number and a minimum ventilation speed
for that day (the day number refers to the animal age). When the curve is activated, the controller changes
