To carry out this operation, proceed as follows.
1 - Turn on the tap (A).
2 - Unscrew the cap (B).
3 - Turn the water spout (C) towards the filler con-
nection (D).
4 - Turn on the taps (E) to fill the jacket.
5 - When water starts to flow from the tap (A), turn
off the taps (E) to avoid overfilling.
6 - Turn the tap (A) fully off and screw the cap (B)
back into place.
7 - To empty the jacket, unscrew the cap (F) provi-
ded underneath the appliance.
Caution - warning
Never open the jacket filler cap (B) or the level
checking tap (A) when the appliance is in op-
eration or still hot.
To avoid any health and safety risks (back injuries)
arising from the handling of the equipment, the bas-
ket containing the product must be removed by two
operatives or with the aid of suitable lifting equip-
ment.
To avoid scalding, suitable equipment (gloves,
hooks, etc.) should be used when pulling out the
handles used to lift the basket.
Customers (Employers) are reminded of their
obligation to assess the residual risks to the
health and safety of operatives arising from the use
of the appliance (and its accessories), and to take
the appropriate preventive measures.
If the appliance is to be out of use for a lengthy pe-
riod, proceed as follows:
1 - cut off the mains electricity supply using the ap-
pliance's master switch;
2 - clean the appliance and the surrounding areas
thoroughly;
3 - spread a film of edible oil over the stainless
steel surfaces;
4 - carry out all the servicing procedures;
5 - cover the appliance, leaving a few gaps to allow
air to circulate.
To ensure correct use of the appliance, the follow-
ing rules should be adopted:
– use only the accessories recommended by the
constructor;
– when filling the jacket, do not use water with
hardness in excess of 10° f.
– do not obstruct the safety valves during use;
Important
during use, check that the pressure gauge
reading does not exceed 0.5 bar.
