Maintenance and Storage
Safety
During maintenance, it is important to respect all safety rules.
Grease Gun Lubrication
Your ANDERSON bale wrapper must be lubricated with a grease gun every 200 bales in the
places indicated by a yellow sticker.
- The 2 front axles
- The throttle lever
- The 2 rear axles
- The automatic system control bar
The use of SYNTHETIC GREASE is highly recommended.
Other Lubrication Points
The front wheel drive chains also need to be oiled regularly. See the yellow stickers.
Pusher frame: The 2 long square tubes were lubricated in the factory. Adding grease on the
farm will only make dust stick, which long-term will inhibit the sliding of the square arms. We
recommend that you instead regularly add new oil to the places indicated by stickers on the
fenders.
Occasionally, we recommend that you systematically oil all the rear parts of the 2 long square
arms. To perform this successfully, you must:
1
o
start the engine
2
o
start a pushing cycle without wrapping,
3
o
stop the engine just before the pusher reaches the end of its trajectory, and
4
o
generously oil the rear area of the arms. Afterwards, start the engine again to complete the
pushing cycle.
