Setting Bargraph/Slider Control Button Properties
Bargraph/slider controls are level monitors and adjustable level controls that you can configure to
monitor or adjust things such as audio outputs and lighting levels. You can create vertical and/or
horizontal bargraphs/slider controls with the buttons on the toolbar (FIG. 16).
1.
Select the button draw tool from the Main toolbar and draw a vertical or horizontal bargraph on
the current working page.
2.
Select the Bargraph button tool from the Button Types toolbar.
3.
Double-click the button to open the Button Properties dialog box (FIG. 17).
4.
Under Channel Code, enter the Device and Channel number or click Channel-Assign.
5.
Under Variable Text address, assign a Device, Channel, or click VarText-Assign.
6.
Under Orientation, select either Vertical or Horizontal as your bargraph orientation.
7.
Under Level Type, select either Display, Active, or Center for a bargraph or slider.
Selection for Level Type is either bargraph (displaying equipment responses/states) or slider
(adjustments to sound or lighting levels). You may only have 8 levels per device on a touch
panel.
8.
Under Level, enter the Device and Level values, or click Level-Assign. (The Axcess software
program uses level codes 1 through 8 to identify the bargraph and its associated operations.)
9.
If you need to send a command string to the Central Controller, enter the string text under
String Output.
10.
You can also set the bargraph as a battery level indicator by selecting the Battery Indicator field
(same as setting the device to 1 and the level to 255). The three-letter symbol "Bat" appears on
